Re: Stirrup slipped of foot while cocking my Excalibur
The proper way of cocking your bow "never has the butt of the stock pointing at any part of your body". I know it seems to be easier when you are directly over the bow when cocking, but after you learn how to cock the bow properly, with the stock along the outside of your leg, it is not th...

Re: Stirrup slipped of foot while cocking my Excalibur
Thanks for all the well wishes, my breathing is fine, just still tender and I cant lay on my side yet. I can lay on my back now, so all is good and getting better Went out today for the first time this season, still too hot for my liking, but couldn't resist. Shot a 4 point for a friend who want a s...

Stirrup slipped of foot while cocking my Excalibur
I was out at a 3d range a couple weeks ago. It was a 10 target range and I was on target 7. Its a 60 yard uphill shot. I had to cross a few muddy little water ways so my boots had some mud on them. I put my cocking aid on my string, inserted my foot into the stirrup and proceeded to cock my Excalibu...

Re: Boltcutter accuracy--need input
I shoot the 20 inch firebolt arrows with the .150 grain field tips and .150 grain bolt hunting tips in my Axiom. I have hunted the past 3 years and they never let me down. I added Luminoks to my arrows this year because last year I shot a doe at 25 yards and couldn't find my arrow, I have shot sever...

Re: Brace height for Axiom ?
If I remember, the brace height can be 5/8 - 1 1/8. I have my Axiom rail marked at 1 inch. and keep my string there. I just twist it a turn when it gets below the 1 inch mark, with no change to my POI.

Tact Zone Scope on my Axiom
I bought the Excalibur Tact Zone scope and put it on my Axiom. Took it out and sighted it in to 60 yards. Its right on from 20 - 60 yards. Ready for Missouri deer season 2015. I have a HHA Optimizer that I took off My Axiom, it works great, but I wanted something simpler during hunting season. My lo...

Re: Which lighted nock
I have Luminoks, you DO NOT NEED pliers to turn them off. I use a piece of 3/8 rubber fuel hose that's split to slide up over the luminok to turn it off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhh8pFv7i_0newbie wrote:luminoks, simple ONE piece design! You DO NOT need pliers to turn them off but it does make it easier.
