Re: Suggestions for excalibur next model
Well, I'd like to see a small, light-framed, bone-bashing recurve about 25" wide that will shoot a 460 grain arrow around 312 fps. Maybe call it "Thudd the Thumper" or "Micro" or something.
Oh wait..... I've got one!

Re: Glad we're back!
Scared me for a while there; lost 3 other forums in the last couple years, and would hate to see the same here because of low traffic. Some old timers need to step it up, and some of you bots and lurkers need to join up and post. Jack Hey Cal, been a while, hope you’re all doing well buddy! Dan Doi...

Re: Shortages

Putting the corner ...

Re: Is this REALLY a crossbow???
Technically not a crossbow in the traditional sense, but I don't know what you'd call it. "Mechanical contrivance" maybe.
Wouldn't mind shooting one but at this time I have no desire at all to own one.

Re: Fawn encounter
My wife and I drove up to the town near our farm last Saturday to pick up the meat of a hog we had butchered and bring it back to our suburban home. For the trip back, I decided to take a shortcut over a paved county road. As we neared a hilltop a doe and tiny fawn (tiny as in probably born that mo...

If you run a cotton ball over the area and it doesn't snag any fibers, you most likely don't have a problem.
