Re: Grizzly Tigger
The bow fired with the safety in the safe position. If the trigger is partially pulled and then released and the safety is put back on, the bow will fire with the safety in the safe position.

Re: Grizzly Tigger
I was just target shooting my Grizzly this am and had the same thing happen, the safety was on. Glad the bow was pointed at the target, lost the bolt in the woods behind target. The creep has been getting worse, to the point it takes forever for it to go off. Some times it goes off quickly other tim...

Re: Advice for Grizzly crossbow
That's great Mark
I love the Grizzly, shoots great, and is my 1st crossbow.
Used stock bolts and bolt cutters to take a nice fat spike in 2015

Re: Advice for Grizzly crossbow (new guy)
I had the same problem with my Grizzly, used flat washers on the REDS, two on each, gave me 1/4 inch of the bumpers, with a 1.5 inch brace height. Be sure to loctite the screws.
Hope that helps.

Re: New Grizzly Matrix Owner
I just found out that they are sending out crossbows with short strings, just like BrotherRon said. I will try to pick up a new string, if the one I have doesn't stretch.
Thanks for all your help. What a great sight to belong to.

Re: New Grizzly Matrix Owner
I emailed Excalibur and they said that 1.5" is the correct brace height for the grizzly. So I guess the REDDS are useless on the grizzly. In order to make them effective I would have to reduce the brace height lower than it is supposed to be. Waste of money.

Re: New Grizzly Matrix Owner
Thanks for all your replies, the package says 7008 which is for the grizzly. I think they should make the reds adjustable because each bow is different. Guess I will just have to live with it.

New Grizzly Matrix Owner
Hello, I am a new member who has just bought a Matrix Grizzly. I love the bow but I have a question about the brace height. The brace height is set at 1.5" the way it came. However the string is about .5" away from the REDDS bumpers I installed and does not seem to touch them at the shot, ...
