Re: Need help for daughter. UPDATED
I was a small skinny kid when I started hunting 4' something under 100Lbs. and my first rifle was a 94 Winchester 30-30 . Recoil is not a problem. And now I have a original Grizzly and a Axe (Mag 340) and I have the crank for it but only use it when target shooting. I can pull it back a few times wi...

Re: First deer with crossbow
I went back today to chop my arrow out of the tree and took my range finder to check distance (I had it with me Saturday but knew she was within 20yds.) The shot was 10yds.to my right broad side. The arrow is toast. I am very pleased with shooting a Doe for my first crossbow kill I don't hunt for tr...

First deer with crossbow
I finally scored with my Excalibur (axe) Mag 340 or whatever they call it now. It's just a small Doe but it's my first deer with it. Was about a 15yrd. Shot hunting on the ground with my boy. He using a original Grizzly. I have to go back and chop my arrow out of a tree. Well I was going to attack a...

Re: C-2 Crank
Thanks everyone for the information I had someone tell me that theirs was like that and they used a wrench and pliers worked it back and forth and it would loosen up. So that's what I did and it worked. The threads had some left over machining shavings in then. Thanks again. The people on these site...

Re: C-2 Crank
It is not stuck at all it only screws out that far but will turn all the way in. I unscrew the nut and take the whole part out to put it over the stock then screw everything back in to lock it in position. It seems like the inside of the nut was never machined out deep enough.

Re: C-2 Crank
Wish I could post a picture! the pin sticks out on the inside of the crank 3/16" when it is unscrewed as far as it can be and it is impossible to slide it over the stock until you unscrew the entire thing out of the crank plate so there is only a threaded hole left then and only then can you sc...

Re: C-2 Crank
onebigskittle, I don't have a online photo site. I'm shooting a grizzly and a axe and when I screw the pin all the way out it still sticks out 3/16 of a inch so I have to take the hole thing all the way off the crank then screw the nut part back in then the pin.

Re: C-2 Crank
it is all the way back and still sticks out about 3/16 of an inch. I have to almost unscrew the hole thing to get it to go on the stock then I can screw all of it back in a little then screw the pin into the stock.

C-2 Crank
Just received a new one and it will not go on the stock unless I loosen up the main brass piece too because the pin sticks out to far when it is on screwed all the way.
Is there a fix for this or is it a normal problem?

Recieved the new Axe Raid
This bow is sweet but I only had time to shoot it a few times to zero it and it is quite fast and quiet. I think I'm going to like this one.
And a big thanks to Wyvern Creations.

Placed my order
With Wyvern Creations for a Axe 340 Raid. This is my second Excalibur. First one was the original Grizzly.
Hopefully the wait is short.
