Re: Ramcats: Cabela's, Hamburg, PA

Joe They fit .I snap them in and slide them up. They fly awesome as I'm sure other users can attest, they have amazing penetration and seem to blow a bigger hole in and out then what you would expect.

I shoot both the 100 and 125 gr. RamCat exclusively with my micro no issues and they fly great and blow thru everything. 8)

Re: Crossbows across the border

I have traveled back an forth into B.C. just a ton of times to visit my friends in Grand Forks both to just visit and to hunt. The one thing I consistently do is stop in US customs before crossing and getting a declaration form filled out for any valuables that I am transporting across such expensiv...

Re: CRONY distance?

Keith ,
Thanks, curiosity was getting to me. I keep seeing everybody's high FPS , now I just need the snow to go away and set up again. I have always used a measured 10'. That's the old hand loader in me I guess.

CRONY distance?

Just curious how far are you placing your CRONY in front of your bow when measuring FPS. I have always set mine 10' in front the same as I did with my VBOW and rifles, is there a standard that the manufacture uses to achieve the stated FPS at the 350 gr. minimum :?:

Re: Chrono on a Micro with a Flemish string

Just how far away from the arrow are you placing the Crony? I have mine set 10' away shooting stock quill and 100gr. factory string I was at 326' to 328' moving to Flemish string about the same a tad faster which could be strictly air temp.

Re: Here is a good read i got off AT

The one impact that the xbow is having that I see is that older experienced hunters that had to give it up due to aging and other things are re entering the archery hunt. These are hunters who know how to harvest deer. The over all deer harvest isn't being effected but the # of Bucks being killed is...

2015 year in review

Well we had a pretty cool year with our micro. We took 4 deer of which 3 were bucks 1 in the cheese state . 1 in WVA and 1 in my home state of PA. . This was the first year using an Excalibur always shot the PSE vbow and in 2013 had a 10 point Turbo, nice bow but just like any compound it had a few ...

Re: Broadhead for a excalibur micro 335

I have converted to strictly shooting RamCat's 100gr. they fly off my micro like FP and I don't have to worry about pre deployment/no deployment/ deflections proper assembly . I only need to hit my spot! :D Just use something you have ultimate confidence in.

Re: Interesting new broadheads.

I will not shoot another mechanical head now that I have found a fixed head that flies great and blows big holes in em. Its the RamCat for Thor! 8) I understand the attraction to mechanicals but we shoot a recurve Xbow for its simplicity so why take the chance on a head that might deploy early or no...
