Re: tact-zone question
There is no speed ring screw on mine except the high one. I held mine in place with a tiny strip of black electrical tape because it was constantly moving from being bumped.

Re: Prejudices Against Crossbows
ECK, I don't disagreed with some of that push back , We have a guy in our camp that couldn't kill a deer with his vbow if we tied the critter to the front porch, he was always missing or wounding them, now he brags about the bucks he kills and the fact that its like his rifle he just takes a couple ...

Yepper that's the stuff you can just spray it or fog the area which is what I do when they first show signs of chasing.

Re: Grim Realer X-Bow Broadheads
I hear ya!! scared the crap out of me the first time I shot a deer with MBH when the buck ran down the mountain with the arrow waving back at me. I had shot Thunderheads for 20yrs and always blew thru them. I should have added that out to 40yds the RamCat flies like FP I don't notice any difference ...

Re: Grim Realer X-Bow Broadheads
I have used the GR 100 gr. and 125gr. extensively up until last season. The reason well ,,,the last 2 deer I did not get a pass thru. both quartering away. They didn't go far under 100yds. My local little archery shop talked me into trying RamCat and I think they are the best of both worlds The last...

Re: Treestands !!!
When I hunted most of my life in the Pa. and WVA. mountains I always used climbers. I thinks the biggest advantage was I moved them easily and it help eliminate location burnout, where hang on and ladder stands deer will start to associate the location with danger if hunted to regularly. Gun hunting...

Pre Rut action
THOR was out hanging in his tree the last 2 nights and mornings and he is finally seeing some daylight buck movement. This morning watched a small 4 point rip down the dripper and piss on the mock scrape. Checked the camera this morning and our big bucks are still not on camera before 10pm . Anyone ...

Deer decoy
General question anyone using a decoy and if so how/when are you using it? I have been using one (buck) for 3 years but about half the time that I put it out the deer freak out. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts.
I'm just starting to see pre rut action here in Wi.
Thanks in advance

Re: New Spare Limbs
I just called thru the contact info at the top of this page and LVM for Dawn, She called me back within 24hrs. I told her THOR wanted a spare set of arms and she took my info and 2 weeks later they arrived $92.00 including shipping. this was however in June, so it may take longer.

Re: Speculation thread on the limbs breaking....
OK, OK I have read this stuff about failures for weeks... I thought this old stick flinger would enter the fray. I have owned more bows then most over the years . I bought PSE's Mach 4 when it came out great bow and was the fasted rated on the market at 78lb 50% let off. I promptly put a 3" ove...
