Re: Deer Feeder Question
Those are the same feeders I use. I can tell you that the Trash Can lids and such are not necessary. The Squirrels and Coons simply wait on the bottom for their time. I did have a coon climb the rope out to the feeder and try to gnaw through the lid and he was unsuccessful other than chewing a notch...

Re: Hunting Camera
So, I have had the same question I have been dealing with - as well as a few others - range finder, night vision for yotes, etc. I pulled the trigger recently on the ATN X Sight II to try to kill all the birds with one stone. It is on back order so hopefully will get here by early November. Cannot v...

Changing Scope mount?
I recently ordered a night vision scope for hunting yotes. I was going to change my excalibur rings to QD rings so I could swap scopes w/o having to re-zero. That's when I realized the rail is weaver and not picatinny. The night scope I ordered only works on picatinny. Is there a way to change the r...

Re: Baiting
I have two timed hanging / scatter feeders from Moultrie. I run them (and fill them with corn) year round to keep the deer in and moving back and forth (and building patterns / trails). I have two small parcels directly across the road from one another. The larger parcel is densely wooded and close ...

Re: First Deer
Wow - better than I've ever done also. My 13 year old daughter shot her first deer yesterday - just a nice Doe - no way I can show her this!!! Great score!
Congrats to you and your daughter!

Bolt question.....
Hi guys
Hope all is well. Needed some more arrows this year and ordered 20" zombies. It appears I've been shooting 18s so far. My bow is a Matrix 380. Does it matter or should I send them back for 18s?

That's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Great idea for a new product though - Blow Up Does. Gotta patent that......

Re: Getting on my nerves!!
Guys I am not one to complain and I truly love the folks and the content on here - but there are many forum / message board technology solutions available out there. It seems we are working around this one quite a bit between attaching pics and just plain typing. I've seen at least a half dozen cont...

Re: How far is too far?
Thanks to all for the comments and advice. I think we're all in agreement. Four nice bucks and I passed on all due to distance. My longest kill to date was about 35 yards and the doe jumped making it a less than perfect hit. I think I'll try to improve odds by moving. Got a ground blind and will giv...

How far is too far?
Looking for some sage advice please guys. How long of a shot would you consider to be an ethical shot with your crossbow? Let me start by saying that I have zero desire to "wound" deer. I have done it and it tears me up so I don't ever want to do it again. That said, first a little backgro...

Ever been tempted?
:? As I sit here at my desk working, I am forced to consider the pros and cons. I keep seeing this beautiful 8 point pop in and out of the small (and I mean really small) wooded area in my back yard. Before we get too excited, I live in a suburban neighborhood south of Atlanta comprised of nice home...
