Re: General Bolt & ZS Questions
Thanks Bubba! I was looking at South Shore's website and going through a buying process. Man is there a lot of variations to choose from. If and when I decide to buy I'll have to call personally and talk about what I do and want and have them tell me what's best. I had no clue what some of the optio...

Re: General Bolt & ZS Questions
Thanks Paul, I'll definitely do all of that.
If anyone can answer another question, what is the difference between the ZS's and the Executioners? Are the ZS's a better quality bolt?

Re: General Bolt & ZS Questions
Thanks for the advice fellas. I'll definitely start staying away from the commercial bolts when I'm ready to order. Bubba, I'll definitely check out the trader section and possibly give Jerry a call at some point when I'm ready to order. Jeff, thanks for clarifying that, I was wondering what that wa...

General Bolt & ZS Questions
As a new Grizzly, and crossbow owner in general, I am shooting the Diablo's that came in my package. I am happy with the performance I'm getting out of them, it's not like I would know anything different. Of course while sighting it in I happened to lose a bolt in some tall grass. So with only 3 lef...

Re: New Grizzly Matrix Owner
I'm also a new Grizzly owner, just bought it on 8-20 and shot it all weekend. On 8-21 I bought a set of R.E.D.S for my bow. I'm a little lost here as to what you're talking about because mine simply slid into some holes and came with a retention screw. I was able to adjust mine in and out to the des...

Re: FNG W/Plenty of Questions
Again, I want to thank everyone for their suggestions and input on everything. I just wanted to report that a buddy of mine at work who shoots an Axiom suggested the two bladed mechanical Rage broadheads. They were on sale at Dick's for $30 so I bought two packs with plans to return them if they did...

Re: FNG W/Plenty of Questions
Thank you everyone for your input. I'll be taking it all under consideration as I progress through my learning stage with this new crossbow.
One point of clarification, my package did NOT include broadheads so I'm starting from the ground up which is why I came here with my question.

Thanks X, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on that.
Now just to find some broadheads that shoot accurately.

Re: FNG W/Plenty of Questions
Grassy, no I didn't buy a stringer. I'm completely new at this. I guess I'll have to pick one up when I buy my cheek piece. I saw something about adjusting brace height. I guess you unstring it and twist the string to retighten the string right?

Re: FNG W/Plenty of Questions
Thank you Bubba. With my vertical compound bow I was able to find broadheads that flew exactly like my field points out to 40 yards. I was hoping to be able to find the same thing with the crossbow without spending money trying different heads. I've read about Slick Tricks and Ramcats but no one men...

FNG W/Plenty of Questions
Good day everyone, first time crossbow owner here and after doing some research, talking with friends, and reading reviews, I decided to buy an Excalibur. Today I purchased the new Matrix Grizzly that came with Diablo bolts as well as the rest of the package deal. My questions pertain to the Matrix ...
