To answer Normous, I am more of a meat hunter then a trophy hunter but......the only tag that I will have for this new area is for a buck, so it will be a buck only....whether I have the nerve to pass on a younger one or not......well let's just say I won't make any bets.....the only buck I have eve...

Between getting my new Matrix and scoring another new farm to hunt, I was chomping at the bit for opening day.......then late last week I get word of another farm ( two actually ) that I get to hunt about an hour from my home.....so I spent Saturday morning scoping out these two news farms right acr...

Boy am I ready!!!
Opening day here is October 1st...booked off work the 1st and 2nd. Got all the Drstirrup stuff properly mounted, learned how to unstring the bow, learned how to shorten the string and now have the string about 1/16th of an inch off the new bumpers.......man I am ready to go! Will be my first season ...

More questions for the crossbow newbie
O.K... so I was able to unstring my bow yesterday and mount the DrStirrup limb silencers. The dbKiller bumpers are longer then the REDS......do I understand that the string should be a tad shy of touching the bumpers? If so, is that done simply through adding twists to the string to bring the string...

O.K....I'm feeling dummer then a stick cause all I'm getting is "This page can't be displayed"...................O.K...ten minutes later....finally got it....that's exactly what I have been trying to do with my stringer but when I have it in place and try to cock it, pulling on the stringe...
