Re: Changing where I aim on a deer.
Makes a lot of sense. I've made shots like that on deer with rifles and they dropped immediately whatever the reason is. Maybe as you mentioned, it has to do with the delivery of much more energy because of the involvement of heavier shoulder bone. I envy you Texas guys and your multiple deer bag li...

Re: help with new bow please
These guys that have been around awhile can save a lot of time and frustrated effort and like Scott says most of them have encountered the same problems at one time or another. I've already received some tips and advice that have saved some bacon and I appreciate it.

Re: DRStirrup 4x4 Kocker
This is my second Weaver Classic with the other being a 2-10x50 original Classic which I have had for several years. I have it mounted on a .17HMR bolt action and it has served me well. I have yet to sight the new one in on the Matrix 380 but I love the overall quality and the glass is outstanding. ...

Sounds well aged and cooled down to me. Assuming you'll follow the usual methods of thorough cooking when the time comes, I'm sure there won't be a problem. If you are still leery of it, pack it in dry ice and ship it up here.

Re: Brass inserts for Excal Diablos
Lancaster Archery has some under crossbow bolt brass inserts. Different weights are available. They'll fit assuming the id of Diablos is .300

Re: flat nock F.Y.l.
I think my bollts were .300 and they were the slip in inserts and they fit perfect. Added a little glue and done. The hot melt is a good idea though to get them out again. Thanks for that. Actually, this is a great idea for nocks on other than Excalibur bolts. I have read where a lot of people have...

Re: flat nock F.Y.l.
So are these nocks for 2016 arrows a slip fit or are they somewhat loose or what?? I think the ID of most bolts is .300, someone correct me if I'm wrong. I assume you guys wouldn't have used them if they were too tight going in. I am just wondering how difficult they are to insert??

Re: How many twists can u put in a string?
Coming from tuning compound bows, working on Elites mainly, I was used to a usual maximum of 6-8 in order to achieve proper specs. So when I first received my 380, I was a little surprised that it required 18 twists to achieve proper BH. Made me think the string was made too long but apparently, thi...

Being a newbie, I'm not quite sure what you are referring to as "fixing bolts" I have a Vixen II and could take those measurements for you if I was sure what you were referring to ??
