Re: Air Break ?
Anybody put air brakes on a Micro or is it even possible? From the website, "The lightweight Air Brakes are constructed of an ultra-modern energy absorbing compound and will reduce recoil energy and noise on any Matrix or Micro model crossbow.Tests show an eight-decibel reduction in noise with...

Re: Michigan Trooper Shot with Crossbow
glad to hear the cop is gonna be ok, & glad to hear the dumbass wont get a chance to repeat. No he will not. He must not have known not to bring a crossbow to a gunfight. Apparently this guy had a history of violence and a record to match. I'm guessing he wasn't allowed to possess any firearms ...

Re: Speculation thread on the limbs breaking....
It would be interesting to know if these limb failures were on bows that had the Air Brakes installed. I wonder how those would affect the after shot limb response that you mentioned??

Well keep in mind that the website listed price for the Stirrup is $89.99, the new one I saw on eBay was $69.99 free shipping before someone snagged it.foofoo wrote:just a heads up but ive seen these pop up on ebay. missed out on a set. theres a set on there now but thought the price was too high.

Welcome aboard and my wife who hails from Texas says there's no such thing as a long winded Texan. I'd say that was pretty much true unless you are talking about two Texas ladies on the phone gossiping.

You guys are lucky in Ohio, here in Oregon we are only allowed one rod per angler. What do you do if you get more than one fish on at a time??

Re: Christmas in October
Welcome aboard and congrats on a fine crossbow and sounds like you got as great deal!! I don't even want to say that cocking a 380 is not for the average person so I won't :-) It does stack up towards the end of the pull and if you struggle with that, I wouldn't try to force it as you may very well ...

Re: 380 chrono much slower than I would like
This thread was a great help for me when trying to figure out what was going on with my crossbow speeds. I have two large covered decks on my place, one facing east, the other facing west. I used the east facing one for my first speed checks and using a BE executioner with 125g tip (total 409.6gr), ...

Re: Poachers
Oregon used to be one of the top states for trophy class mule deer as well as several other species like antelope, elk, rocky mountain sheep and white tail deer. Prior to the early 1980's when the Oregon population was around a mere 2.5 million only basic hunting licenses and individual specie tags ...
