Re: 10pt down with the Equinox!

Thanks guys. It ended being a pretty awesome weekend. Our group of 10 hunters ended up taking four bucks, one of which gross scored 176. Here's a couple pics of the take. http://i1338.photobucket.com/albums/o683/pembertont/IMG_1008.JPG_zpsnvf9oxfb.jpg http://i1338.photobucket.com/albums/o683/pembert...

10pt down with the Equinox!

It was opening weekend for firearms here in Indiana, but I managed to take off work Friday and got out ahead of the crowd. Had a little luck with the Equinox when this 10 pointer showed up at 7:30 in the morning! This is the second buck I've taken with this bow and both have expired in sight of my t...

Re: Hang-on & Ladder Stands

We leave our ladder stands out year round as well. We have quite a few different kinds, but we moved toward Muddy Nexus Two Man versions this year and they are awesome. Here's a link:

They are a little pricey but worth every penny, especially for big guys.

Re: pic of me and my boy's first hunt

My profile pic is of me and my son on his first hunt. Those are great times so enjoy it while you can. It didn't take long before my son wanted to hunt by himself. Now I drop him at his stand and pick him up in the dark! Only took him one season on his own to take his first solo deer. He's even lear...

Re: First Day Out This Season

The weekend didn't end up too bad. Saw 12 antlerless on Saturday and 6 more this morning plus an 8 and a 9 pointer. Neither buck met my minimum size to take but both were 110-120 class deer. Sure did enjoy the time outdoors though. Today was beautiful!

First Day Out This Season

First chance to get up a tree today with the Equinox. Two doe so far but I might just stay up all day if this rain holds off in southwestern Indiana. Bring on the big boy! Hopefully I can have a little of that luck some of you are having!! http://i1338.photobucket.com/albums/o683/pembertont/Mobile%2...

Re: DRY firing!

Hello...new to the forum, but I've witnessed an Equinox and an Axiom dry fired. One threw the string and one didn't. Both survived unscathed and the scopes both worked fine afterward too. Excals can definitely take it better than any other xbow out there! Best hunting purchase I've made!
