Re: Mule Deer
My cousin has land near you. When we went to Colorado everyone would muzzleloader and i would use my compound bow. In Wyoming everyone uses a rifle and i used my compound but this last season i got my excalibur and took that. Though last year in section C they stopped the antelope tags.

Re: Mule Deer
I hunt the medicine bow and the region between gillete and buffalo every year. Hunt with my dad, 2 uncles and 2 cousins and we almost always fill our tags. Love it out there. Never been denied a tag either.

Re: Farthest shot
....and to answer Chad's question ...under the right conditions and confidence at that time I would take the shot at long range. Thats just me though. Nothing but respect for everyone else's opinion and personal shot distances.

Re: Farthest shot
Shot a mulie this year at 72 yards with the 380. Pass through and another 10 to 15 feet after. I do think 40 thru 60 yards are a weird mix of still loud at the shot and extra distance for the arrow to travel. Closer the speed makes up for the noise and 70 and over i think the noise is not enough to ...

Stock and Rail
Just curious and this maybe a really stupid question that i could probably figure out myself but being that im very comfortable with being lazy today..... Can you put a matrix rail and limb assembly on a exo series stock? I only ask because i like the traditional stock but am perfectly happy with 38...

Old Vs.New
I know this is a personal preference kind of topic but does anyone feel the longer limb crossbows are more accurate that the newer shorter limb models?... I own a 380 and recently bought a Axiom. Now i have not hunted with the Axiom and the 380 has proven itself to be deadly at long range for me but...

Re: How far is too far?
I agree with all of what you said. ...but we can argue on this touchy subject all day and get no where. SEW said it best in an earlier post. So to each is own. I just dont buy it when i all you hear is "ethical" shot distance talk cuz some people on TV and the magazines tell everyone 'this...

Re: How far is too far?
72 yards on a mule deer in October. Bolt passed through and when another 10 to 15 feet and stuck in the dirt. Plenty of power at long range. ...Now that being said... 1. That far on a jumpy whitetail better be under perfect conditions. 2. What is the power of what your shooting? 3. What is the weigh...

Re: flat nock F.Y.l.
Thats a good idea too. Had a 3 pack of lighted nocks but didnt use them because didnt have time to try them before my trip out west and didnt want to screw up or potentially screw up my POI or FOC on such a short time line.
