Thanks Boo for your advice in this thread. I have a new excalibur string on my matrix 380 and I've lost count once I started getting over 20 twists on it. The stretch seems to have stabilized some but I wouldn't be surprised if it's 30 twists at this point and it's absolutely is the correct string. ...

Worked well for my first deer, but didn't get much of a blood trail. Tough broadheads though. My husband found my arrow for me today the lumenok must have turned off in the deer but the broadhead made it through an old birch log. I like Genes idea of a washer. That should work well for you. Otherwise ask for some judo points that's my plan. On advice from a friend I shot a bird with a field point that was stupid I lost the arrow and the bird.
