Re: grizzly brace height

My understanding is 1.5 inches due to the swept back riser. When I put my Grizzly together the string was right on the mark on the riser. I have my BB's installed to sit 3/16" of an inch below the string.

Unless I hear otherwise, that's what I am sticking with.

Re: Heading North

I am heading up near Lakewood this weekend to do some grouse and deer hunting. Weather doesn't look too promising for Saturday. Might have to take my ameristep along so I don't get soaked.....

I know around where I live the rut is starting, but not too sure if it has started up north.

Good Luck!

Re: VIXEN II question

If that's the way to score a new 355  I'd definately go with option #2 .... I love my 355 even though the Bull in my avatar has no "Love" for it. Besides. she will have a "One Off" Grizzly... A "win... win" which she'll probably love and that may even get y...

VIXEN II question

Can anyone tell me what the cocked and uncocked width is for the Vixen II. Reason I ask is last weekend, I was shooting my Grizzly I just bought and my wife walked past and asked if she could shoot the new xbow. I said sure and her first shot at 20 yards was 1/2" high freehand. Her next comment...

Re: Excalibur Tact Zone Scope adjustment Question

Hey folks, Just a brief question- On the Tact Zone scope, Im curious if they are all standard elevation, windage adjustment. Meaning for elevation right or clockwise is up and windage right direction is clockwise. My Grizzly came with the new Octane DeadZone scope and the windage and elevation adju...

Re: This happened with my Micro in the stand today

Wow, great shot. Heading up Nort this weekend to do some hunting. First time archery hunting in nearly 15 years. Back then I used a Golden Eagle Evolution. Don't remember blow holes like that back then. Lol

Re: question on grizzly

My new Grizzly has a few rough spots on the limbs. Took a magnified look at it and it appears to be some small air bubbles/open pockets on the surface. My guess is it is from the camo application. Reminds me of the slight flaws (pin head sizes pockets) that you find on the coverstocks of high-perfor...

Re: scouting with cameras

I use the Stealthcam G42NG. It is exceptionally small, uses AA batteries and takes outstanding daytime videos and night time are very good. Place them on the property perimeter to mainly get an idea of what is in the area. When I get back from the cabin this weekend, I'll post some video and picture...

Re: Retrieving SD card images to iphone?

It is called a USB OTG ( OnTheGo ) cable. It lets your android phone work as a host controller and access a SD/MICRO card reader. Amazon is the easiest place to find them. A normal micro to USB cable allows your computer to be a host and the phone or card reader to be a slave device. A USB to OTG ca...

Re: R.E.D.S suppressor pads /w Excalibur Matrix Grizzly

By doing that it brought them out far enough ?

I might just try that and maybe cut off some plastic pins to put in the mounting holes to eliminate the gap.

Thanks!

Re: R.E.D.S suppressor pads /w Excalibur Matrix Grizzly

I discovered the same thing last night. It is a bit confusing as the packaging says fits all matrix crossbows. However is does not fit the Matrix Grizzly. Makes me a bit leery of buying accessories that say "all matrix bows" when I have learned that that is not necessarily true in all case...

Re: DrStirrup

Does the Safe Stirrup shown on the website fit the Matrix Grizzly ? Reason I ask is that at the bottom of the page it reads: "Handle your crossbow more easily thanks to the DrStirrup: a light, strong and versatile stirrup. It fits on all Excalibur Matrix crossbows, including previous generation...
