Re: OT: Piebald down. (Pic heavy)
Congrats on such a special trophy. A few years ago I shot a piebald but didn't know what a piebald was until a buddy told me what I had taken. He had recorded the buck on vhs about a month before I had taken it. My buddy was trying to keep it a secret at the time and hunt it himself. I had a full bo...

Re: Micro limb failure
I didn't ask Danny what the limbs would cost if I bought them. Mine were covered through warranty

Re: Micro limb failure
I am very pleased with the micro. It meets everything I wanted in a crossbow. With a company such as Excalibur I know I didn't go wrong. If I had to do it all over again I would buy the micro.

Re: Micro limb failure
I'm going to leave the black limbs on the bow. Danny said that he replaces mostly camo limbs. Thought there might be a problem in the camo application.

Micro limb failure
Last Friday evening I was sitting in the woods with my micro which I've owned for about a month. I heard a ting and shortly after another ting noise. I looked at the limbs and saw splinters on right limb (camo). Within a few minutes there was a very loud crack and I observed a long split in the limb...

Re: Flemish string for micro 335
Also, I've shot compound bows for hunting and competition years ago but they were never so simple to set up as the Micro. This Micro is the best! I was shooting X-rings 20 minutes after receiving the crossbow and assembly. After joining this forum I can see that I purchased a great bow.

Re: Flemish string for micro 335
I will be contacting Danny on this subject. I'm sure there are other good string makers on this site but it's nice that Danny is so close to my area. I plan on putting on a Flemish string and saving the factory string for a spare. I appreciate all the replies. Great forum!

Re: Flemish string for micro 335
I read a post to contact a Danny Miller from Sardis Ohio on Flemish strings. Sardis is located about30 or 40 miles from me. Did some grouse hunting above Sardis years ago.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how to finish my profile. I'm from Ohio, 30 miles west of Wheeling W.Va.

Flemish string for micro 335
I just purchased the Micro335. Is a Flemish string better than the factory string? Is there any need to consider the Flemish string?
