Re: dr stirrup promo deal
I can see where you would be limited as to where the brace height would be set at with these bumpers. His design and instructions call for the string to just sit against the bumpers. I can understand that reasoning. As he explains it on his site. My tenpoint bows also advised to have the string ride...

dr stirrup promo deal
Just ordered the promotion deal off Dr stirrup site. If you buy the 4X4 rope cocker and the foot stirrup, you get the bumpers and limb silencers for free.. Looking forward to trying it out. Thought I'd pass this on. The promo ends the 18th. How's everyone else liking theirs that have had a chance to...

Re: michigan M/L with my Micro
It's a special season for us old coal burner guys that want a season for our smoke poles. Even though we could use them during regular deer rifle season. It's worked well for us doing this way. Like our archery. We get the jump on the deer before rifle. Some rifle guys think that's silly and old sch...

Re: michigan M/L with my Micro
We can carry afield both a crossbow and muzzleloader here in Michigan. If using a muzzleloader, of coarse you have to use black powder or a commercially made black powder substitute. Can't use a crossbow in the Upper Peninsula unless your a certified hunter with a disability.

Re: Chronograph
Pro chrony here also. Keep in mind while shooting over the 2 lens style chronographs, that it starts reading as soon as the arrow passes the first lens. So, you wouldn't want to have the bow to close. The arrow would still be in it's power stroke. The reading would be low. Depending on your length o...

Re: TT Single Stage in my Micro
That's great to hear Keith. I just ordered one from Dave for my micro. Or maybe the 355. Not sure yet. Eventually both. Christmas and all, I gotta watch my spending on me. Actually it would be for the family......... meat in the freezer. Wouldn't want them starving.

Rail Tip.... to help save string serving wear.
Haven't seen this tip posted yet, and thought it's a excellent tip to share with others that don't mind doing a little extra to their CB. This was told to me over the phone while placing a order by a gentlemen who most know well. He don't like to blow his own horn. ( likes his phone to communicate. ...

Re: Lets hear some good about micro
Love the handling. The accuracy is unreal compared to other brand names I've owned. Seems more quiet than my matrix 355. Did have a issue, that was quickly taken care of by Excalibur within days. Took a 6 point at 45 yards with a quartering away shot that was a passthrough with grim reaper broadhead...

Re: New micro 335, little disappointed so far
^^^^ True true ^^^ It's a excellent shooting CB. Excellent handling too. Love it. As long as nothing goes south on it. Then it's a stupid dam bow. Get it fixed again and it's my precious again. Kind of reminds me of my first wife. One more chance...........

Re: Black Eagle Arrow Helical?
The helical sure helps stabilize. But keep in mind it slows down your FPS with the increased drag. I really don't noticed a change in poi VS straight or offset, until shooting out further than 40 yards. Speed really starts dropping after.

Love the bolt. Did buy some weaver split rings to mount it on the 335. Your going to have one sweet setup.
