Awesome bow! I just missed out on one for a steal of a deal due to work and traffic intervening.
Enjoy

Re: Max grains (grams?)
Thanks, I shot my aluminum eBay arrows today with half moon nocks. Approx 480grains or 31grams total weight. The feathers are not as rigid as I would have liked, but overall they seem to work well enough, especially for the price. However you do need to take care and load these bolts carefully, maki...

Max grains (grams?)
This grains thing is still a bit confusing for me, I really have no clue why arrows/bolts weights aren't quoted in grams but anyhow I digress. I just received some aluminum bolts that are heavier than my carbon ones. Just wondering what the max allowable weight would be? I have an Exocet 175..thanks!

Re: Exocet 200
Don't be tempted to use cheap arrows. Good quality arrows pay for themselves and are safer to use in my opinion. Bill Well I had a few bucks sitting in my paypal, so I ended up ordering 6 aluminum bolts. I will post an update when they arrive and see how they compare to the name brand carbon ones I...

Re: Exocet 200
The exocet 200 had a machined riser . Yours is cast . The camo was the Excalibur variety . The date would be 1999-2002 approximately. It is preferable to use flat nocks so you are not restricted to only one way to put your vanes on the mainframe . Yup, we've established it's a 175. The previous own...

Re: Exocet 200
Thanks, I'm wondering if anyone has tried these:

I'm thinking it might work ok to use as target/3D range arrows?

Thanks, I know I need 20" bolts, what weight will work best for both bolt and tip? Looking for best accuracy possible.

Re: Exocet 200
Thanks for all the replies. Well I went to a range about 45mins away from me to get the bow sighted in and just to have some fun and use the darn thing! It seemed to work well, although there was a fair bit of vibration when firing. It was off by a bit so took the better part of an hour to ge...

Re: Exocet 200
Thanks for the replies, as far as an archery club/range to practice, anything out there?
This is the bow:
seems to have an older style simpler camo pattern.

Exocet 200
Howdy folks, well after years of pontificating and occasionally window shopping for these fantastic Excalibur bows I finally picked one up today! I grabbed what looks to be a well used Exocet 200, complete with scope, quiver and a few bolts. The bow still appears to be in good shape, including the s...
