Re: Snow in East Texas

Hunting the snow is fun... Working in it sucks. Loading trucks in the field today with a crazy north wind. The snow in the air kept turning to ice and it felt like it cut your throat when you breathed in the wrong direction. https://i.imgur.com/fZPfx2u.jpg But Chris...you are a young man so full of...

Re: Here Piggy Piggy!!

I've only seen one wild hog in Ontario ever. And it wasn't even a wild hog. It was invasive, released from game farms a couple decades ago now.
Still cool to see, but they are a shoot on site species up here.

Re: Excalibur TwinStrike Crossbow

I have been a bow hunter since 1974. Have seen many changes since then. We went from recurve bows to compound bows to crossbows to air bows. We went from cedar arrows to fiberglass to aluminum to carbon fiber. We went from a three finger release to mechanical releases, went from two blade broad hea...

Re: Cerakote Rail and Riser

I'm down to two bows now, and they are both Cerakoted. As Tyler mentioned I do believe it is the best option(feel free to forward any info Tyler)). All of my working guns get Cerakote, in fact I have a VersaMax being coated as we speak. 1, is coated in Cerakote Elite, and it is slick! Zero serving w...

Re: Excalibur TwinStrike Crossbow

Many times in product development it takes a larger scale project like this to justify the costs associated with say, a completely new limb composition. Dave at Wyvern said in his video review of the Twinstrike that these are the best looking limbs he's ever seen, in terms of build quality. So let'...

justin is doing a fine and dandy enough job of destroying the oil sector all on his own. Biden may very well have nailed the coffin, but he sure didn't kill our oil industry.

Re: Game changer scope!

Burris oracle x crossbow scope! https://youtu.be/F7No5KSjBp4 I'll finish watching that in the morning. I gotta be honest, when the video started and I saw the little compact scope, I was jumping upside down and had already listed my bolts, I thought that was a compact Burris crossbow scope. Then th...

On a side note turkeys leave a crappy blood trail when they fly .
