Re: NJ bear season

I read it as, you buy a license anytime in 2021 and it expires 12/31/21. Then you buy a license on 1/1/22 and it is good until 12/31/22. So you buy a license every Jan 1 and you are good for that whole year. What is odd is that it expires on the calendar year. Most places (OH and NC that I know of ...

Re: Just had a visit from the MNR

The 2 MNR empolyees are on a mission to find them. There is a possible sighting of a football less than a mile away from my house. Apparently they are considered established in Saskatchewan :wtf: https://i.postimg.cc/mDw0Yvw4/B1A789F9-D31D-44EA-9B49-6EA4CC6010F9.jpg Saw one last year corner of Hwy1...

Re: NJ bear season

I read it like Anthony is suggesting. You buy one license for the calender year. But you have to buy the next year mid season in order to complete the season. No? If one tag is good for 2021, but the season crosses into 2022, you'll have to buy a license mid season. He's not complaining about the co...

Re: Bear advise.

After chasing points for many years to get a bear permit I am able to buy a license this year ! This will be my first time hunting Bear and it will be a do it all myself hunting experience no outfitter or guide. Any baiting tips or hunting tips in general would be appreciated. Re: First time I’ve seen mange in this area

This young fox showed up during daylight a third time. Twice it went into the garden boxes about 40 yards from Karin while she was tending the vegetable garden. So the 3rd time I shot it with a 17 HMR. I could careless if it was passing through but it just spent too much time in the raised bed area...

Re: 340 Short?

To keep from taking the other thread down a rabbit hole... The 340 really is the sweet spot for the micros I do believe. I don't think you could go wrong. My axe340 will be with me for a while I think. That's why a 340 TD came home with me and sees the most tree stand time. I too believe 340 is the...

Joe, if I get off my lazy arse and get this garage done, I'm going to put a small shop together. I have some ideas that would work well, but probably would add too much cost for production. Two though might be cool! 8) 8)

Re: 2021 Season plans?

You're not kidding - 2021 Season IS coming fast this year. Bow opener is 01October here in Michigan. Working to get ready with my new-to-me Matrix 355 and Matrix 380. One of them will be used for my first 2021 harvest. Depending on situation, may keep shooting Matrix or go back to Vortex. Firearm s...

Re: Special run on discont. bows, would you buy?

That's was part of my point. The wide limber uses twice as much fiberglass for its limbs and twice as much aluminum for its mainframe, twice as much string material for its string. All other components being equal, why would you suggest it would cost less than a current micro ? Your statement about...

Re: You guys who don't check

I'm confused. The post seems to be about broadhead alignment but the device at the Amazon website seems to be for detecting deviation from straightness on the shaft. When you spin an arrow all its deviations from straightness show themselves. You can do much about a shaft as a diy'r, but more often...
