After doing more research in this forum, I found that a lot of people have received the smf scope with their grizzly package. Some from Cabelas and some from Bass pro along with other places.So it has to be that Excalibur didn't have enough Vari-Zone and Dead Zone Scopes to keep up with demand so th...

Excalibur will switch out the scopes. My package came sealed from the factory from Pine Mountain Archery. I do not beleive that Pine Mountain Archery is doing anything wrong.

Yes Gene that is why I decided to purchase the matrix grizzly excalibur crossbow. I look forward to many years of use out of my Grizzly. Excalibur is a stand up company and stand behind their words.

I contacted Excalibur and they are going to exchange the scope for me.

I just received my new Grizzly from Pine Mountain Archery and it came with the SMF scope instead of the dead zone/ vari zone scope. How do I go about getting the dead zone scope.
