Re: Has the new riser fixed the limb issues on the M405??
I agree. The more I look at mine the more I dislike the change. Color is way off an it just looks off center to the rail. They even had to run a tap in the riser to get the bolts to work rite.

Do you think you lost speed with the NEW riser?racking up points wrote:I shoot a Matrix 405 and I shoot a lot more than your average hunter and I have had no issues with the new limbs. I now have the newer riser, but I don't think that was the problem to begin with, it was always about the limbs IMO.

Re: Has the new riser fixed the limb issues on the M405??
I hope so. I just got mine back. My limb splintered just a tad. Took it back to where I brought it. Excalibur replaced the riser also. Haven't shot it yet. The riser is a diffent color camo then my bow. But can live with that. BUT my concern is how much speed did I lose going to the new riser.

Re: NEW BOW ALMOST
Just a long splinter , was still very useable. But I'm done for the year, filled my tags.So I just figured it was a good time to replace the limbs. Glad I did.

Splinters
Got 2 big splinters in my bow today. (M405) both on same limb , Both are only toothpick size. One is 3in long on the bottom the other is 7in long on top. The shop I got it from is taking care of it as Excalibur warr is great.
My question is can I still use it till this weekend without worries.
