That hardened steel cutter edge is going to last a looong time cutting brass.
If someone isn't squaring the front of their inserts (brass or aluminum) they probably aren't seeing the best accuracy they could get with broadheads of any kind.

Re: Removable Stirrup????
Rope for a stirrup sounds interesting, but I got to wonder just how much quieter it is. Does the stirrup make all that much noise at the shot?
Thanks

Re: zombie brass insert glue
Bea says dont use hot melt.??? I usually use it never had a problem . BEE is protecting itself from shaft failure if someone gets the carbon shaft too hot thereby weakening it in that spot which will ultimately cause failure. I've used low temp hotmelt for years with perfect results. Use the glue g...

Re: Using solder gun to heat bolts
I use the least intrusive way first, and elevate to whatever is needed to remove stuck screws/bolts. First, make sure you have a very good edge on the screwdriver, allen wrench, or socket you are using. Judisous grinding on a screwdriver, or purchase the correct tip often will do the trick, carefull...

Can't find a thread again
Not one of mine, but it's one I read where a person was some kind of champion with crossbows and detailed a bunch of different stuff he did to improve his 380. One of the things I remember he did was to drill and tap the scope mount screws for a larger size. I'd just like to go back and re-read his ...

Looking for how long the string on my Matrix 350 is? All I can find is that it's a "Matrix" length.
Thanks

I bought one from AL's also, right at $500 US delivered.
I'm one of the unlucky ones because I got a crappy trigger with a bunch of creep. I ordered a TriggerTech from Wyvern's yesterday.
Other than that I like it.

Re: Lighted Nocks or Not?
Here's a reason to use them I haven't read about in this thread; When hunting in the snow my arrow will almost always pass through deer and bury under the snow. Most times I can't see it right away and don't want to go digging around trying to find it. I come back (or stay) when it's dark and just l...
