Re: Matrix question
On the GRZ2. Could the plastic rail be replaced with an aluminum rail of similar draw weight poundage? I have a replacement rail from another 350 Matrix

Matrix question
It’s been a while that I have been active on this forum. I have technical question regarding the Matrix line of bows.
Is there anything current that Excalibur makes that would be the size of the Matrix? I have a Matrix 350. I’d like to get a spare backup. I don’t want to have to get a Micro

Re: Old vs New models
Those " P.S. and as big and awkward as they look, they hunt fine. Most all of us here started with one and really had no complaints. I totally agree with you on that one. I do miss my Exomax that I sold to trade up to my 380. If I could have afforded it at the time I would have kept it. They o...

Old vs New models
Do members still hang on and hunt with some of the more older discontinued models? My hunt group is about 6 guys and its about 50-50 from older EXO models to the Matrix Line. For some its sentimental reasons why they keep the older models. I shot X number of deer with it etc..For others they are in ...

Anthony, What model Leupold are you putting on your Excalibur? Are they specifically made for xbows? Robamythntr wrote:.....you just never hear of these issues with Leupold...I have them on all of my firearms and CB's....they just work!

Re: Just When You REALLY Get To Like A Broadhead
My hunt camp was pretty bummed out when Rage 3 blade SlipCam 100gr broadband was discontinued. We haven't lost a deer yet using them. They never travel more than 50 yards before they expire.I bought a few 3 packs as quickly as I could find them. Now I'm on the hunt for a replacement. Be nice to get ...

Do they work in the wide open of a tree stand or are they better in a blind?

Re: How much will this string stretch!!!
Is it possible to twist an endless or Flemish string too much to adjust for brace height? Could it kink or snap at a tight spot? My factory string on my 380 kept stretching like Stretch Armstrong.

Re: crossbow used to kill three in Toronto
I think the media thinks everyone that owns a crossbow is like Darrell on The Walking Dead. Or that idiot on tv a few weeks back that was hunting black bears in Alberta with a spear. I don't know what's worse. Someone shooting three people with a crossbow or not running away while he reloaded two ti...

Re: scope options in Ontario
I had the same problem setting up my first xbow. I couldn't keep the shots consistent every time I adjusted the scope. A co-conspirator watched me for a while and then handed me his rope cocking aid. Turns out it was me all the time. I couldn't believe how much my groups shrunk after I bought one.

Great idea. Instead of my clothes going to the Diabetes Clothesline drive I'm going to make one of these.

I guess Easthill Outdoors isn't crossbow friendly on the indoor range anymore. It's posted on the website. Wonder why the change

Re: Where can I shoot my bow around toronto?
We used to shoot all forms of archery at the range near the Science Centre or setup under th O'Connor bridge in our teens. That was 30yrs ago.
Now I would shoot out at Easthill Outdoors. Nice place, nice staff and crossbow friendly. And no Fudds

Re: Pattern on metal stock
Maybe stock wasn't exactly perfectly clean before it went into the anodizing tank. Part could have been cut from the beginning part of the aluminum extrusion that is a little bit harder being forced through the dies. Sometimes this makes weird patterns in the anodizing because the acid bath doesn't ...
