Re: Matrix 310 Issue
your If you think your bow is screwed up , Leave the bow cocked at home for 3 hours then shoot it at your target . Should hit the ground in front of it , Right ? But I can't see the limbs losing power then regaining their strength again. Agree and I should’ve done it while it was cold outside. Like...

Re: Matrix 310 Issue
I just saw this and my first thought is check the plastic nock, we have seen some misfires due to overly slippery plastic rear inserts. Try to scuff the insert up with some sand paper to insure good grip with the string. If the rear nock is too slippery the string can slide underneath the arrow cre...

Re: Matrix 310 Issue
Is it dead on at the range with your broadheads or field points? 100% dead on. Perfect flight w/o any porpoising or fishtailing with BH or FP Only time I see this erratic flight is after bow has been cocked for a prolonged period (3 hours or so on stand). The retainer dosnt look really that bad but...

Re: Matrix 310 Issue
I think the arrow is barely sliding forward and no longer touching the string causing a partial dry fire. That is the only thing I know of that would cause your arrow to drop that way at the shot. Bend your arrow retainer down to apply a little more pressure to the shaft to keep that from happening...

Matrix 310 Issue
I have a Matrix 310 that I bought a few years ago when I had rotator surgery and couldn’t shoot my vertical bow. I am selective and don’t shoot a lot of deer so have only fired it at deer four times with the bow. But I am not new to deer hunting w archery tackle. Been bowhunting over thirty years w ...

Re: Prayers for UPSMAN
Dennis, I have worked in Open Heart for 20 years and my father had a five graft surgery so I know of what I speak. This surgery is almost routine w great survival rates. You will be back out hunting next season.
Good luck,
Tim

Re: 1 and 2 while hunting
Years & years ago I saw a show on public TV called Fred Trosts Michigan Outdoors. This was way before cable TV. Fred set out four spots near a bait pile. He put his own urine, ammonia, Tinks 69, and aftershave in the spots. He had eaten steak for the last two days & washed it down w beer. Th...

Re: Can you cut down 22" bolts to 18" with vanes still on?
I cut down some Cabelas Carbon Hunter bolts from 20” to 18”. Knocked out the inserts first to reuse. No issues whatsoever cutting them down.
BTW. These are some great bolts and on sale now for $25/6

Re: Brace Height / REDS...Does this look right?
Thanks for the input. I left it cocked overnight & it did stretch a tad. Went out and did some serious shooting Saturday and got her all zeroed in again. I put on some lighted nocks (Nock Outs) and boy did they effect my POI. I was about 3" lower at 30 yds w these nocks installed. Crazy. Dr...

Brace Height / REDS...Does this look right?
Hi. I am new to XB hunting and this Forum, although I have been lurking since November gathering knowledge. I shot a compound for 30 years before my shoulder went out last year. Went with an Excalibur because they are the best from my research. Got my Matrix 310 in November and took awhile to get ar...
