Well, the Fedex guy hand delivered the box up my 500 ft driveway! The Octane Crypt case is really nice and like you said the Micro fits in like a glove!
I have a feeling this crossbow "fetish" is going to cost a lot more in the future...

Re: Padded case for micro 335
I'm sure you will like it's not bulky and its compact like the micro. And great storage compartments Cool...I just got a text message that it will be delivered but not here yet! Sometimes the drivers look at my driveway and keep going...I hope the guy today drives up at least part way and calls...!

Re: Un-stringing/adjusting string on Micro?
ATTA BOY! O.k, that made me laugh. Well done Hillcountry, wont be long before you are giving advise along with the rest of us. Happy shootin, Hank Thank you! It may seem like nothing to unstring a crossbow to some but truly, this Micro and it's tiny, formidable limbs was really a concern to t...

Re: Un-stringing/adjusting string on Micro?
Okay...all went well thanks to the good folks on here who are more than willing to lend a hand to a brand new Excalibur owner. My DB Killers are in place on the limbs and the process is now a reality for me. With the string aid adjusted properly it was very easy to cock and let down the limbs. Could...

Re: Un-stringing/adjusting string on Micro?
So I'm supposed to use the regular cocking rope? I thought I was supposed to just use my hands/fingers to use the string aid. This makes sense as I feel that might be almost impossible to do bare handed. Let me know if I'm understanding you correctly.. Thanks! By the way I have not tried un-cocking ...

Un-stringing/adjusting string on Micro?
Anyone fiddled with the Micro (in my case the 355) and an Excalibur stringing aid? I want to put some of the DB Killers on my Micro and have to, of course, un-string the bow...was wondering if this may be a 2 man ordeal or what? Any info is helpful! I haven't attempted it yet as I just got my string...

Thanks...I was thinking that anyway (common sense to use just the heat and not the flame)newbie wrote:Put the flame farther away and heat it slowly, soon as you see it melting remove heat and repeat. I havent tried on that particular rope but works on most others.

Re: Dr Stirrup 4x4 rope kocker review
Just got my 4x4 Kocker in the mail yesterday and set it up right away...I like the quality and the color of the rope! I matched the length of the factory cocker and tried it right away and this thing works as advertised! Love it! Now waiting for my string changing rope to arrive so I can install the...

Thanks!paulaboutform wrote:You don't need to stop anywhere but the crossing booth. I've traveled back and forth with my crossbow countless times. As said, just be proactive and tell the customs officer you have archery equipment.
