I had a couple problems the 1st two times I tried it. Watch the YouTube video and MAKE SURE you have your rope in the slot at the back of the bow...that's what I did wrong...

... So what am I doing wrong? I'm 6'6 and fairly strong....Two dry fires and I've ruined 3 bolts firing them after hunts...

I know [it's] been asked and answered, but I just bought a Vortex. Have a dozen Firebolts (265g) and a dozen Parker Red Hots (300 g).. Decocking Vortex with ADF
Bought a used Vortex with Guardian ADF. Have tried to decock it twice using the rope cocker and both times had a dry fire. Watched a video on YouTube... Am I missing a trick or something??? I mean how many times can Intry his before I blow my limbs up...
