Re: ??? Spitfire Shooters ???
I used Spitfire 100s for years with my vertical bow with great results and no failures. My Excals are the bigger bows 400/405/405/380 and I do band them, just because. As noted previously, the practice heads vary slightly in weight, but they seem to fly the same as superglued "real" Spitfi...

Re: 2017 WI black bear
Thanks. It was a little disappointing as I had a bear that we figured was 500-550+lbs on camera for a month straight and then a couple weeks before my season opened he, and most of the other bigger bears, just disappeared. I was really focused and wired up for that one, but it wasn't to be. AND I re...

I am obviously behind the learning curve here. With photo(scum)bucket now not a viable option for uploading pictures, what is the general consensus as the best format/site to use to upload, and/or store and upload photos to other websites? Is there any option to just upload from my computers stored ...

2017 WI black bear-(pics added)
Well, it all didn't work out as I hoped, and unfortunately I didn't take this bear with my Excal, I HAD to use a muzzleloader, at least I had my Excal hat on in the pics!! A variety of issues impacted my bear hunt including a bumper crop of berries and acorns and trespassing bear dog hunters, ...

Re: Acorn crop?
Large acorn crop in NW WI too.
So much so that it really impacted my bear hunting.
I did get a nice 310 lbs bear, but many of the larger bears were pulled off the baits the two weeks before the season started.
That and a bumper crop of blueberries and blackberries.

X2 on this, AND I noticed that there are not any MSRPs on the accessories on the home page.
Still more tweeks/updates coming I'm sure.

Re: Ex-Shox I like 'em!
Wes,
I've been thinking about trying a set of these, two questions:
1) Have you shot through a chrony to see what the speed difference is? (or have you felt you noticed any speed difference?)
2) How easy was the install. I understand one problem is that they have a tendency to fly off.
Thanks

Re: 2017 seasons goals?
Having never shot ANYTHING with a crossbow, this year my goals are: 1) Hoping my 75+ year old friend who borrowed my 380 and shot a buck last year, does it again this year! It was a thrill for both of us last year and he's excited about trying it again this year which is great. 2) I have a WI bear t...
