Re: Internet's Power

I'm not a wealthy man, and never will be, but I try to support my local shops. For example, when I made up my mind to buy a crossbow, and not knowing anything about the care and feeding of these beasts, I went straight to my local bow and gun shop. I bought my first compound bow from them over 35 ye...

Re: 350 MATRIX FOR HUNLEE

Very well said, xcaliber. I know Hunlee from another crossbow forum as well, and he always brings a smile to my face. What could be wrong with that???

You keep on being you, Hunlee! :D

Re: Opinions on Matrix

I've owned my Matrix 355 for just over a year now. Very pleased with it, no issues at all. It's my first ever crossbow. Outstanding hunting machine. Having said that, if I had my time to do over, I think I'd have gone with the 330, and upgraded the scope to a Tact-Zone, just to be able to put in a l...

How does Danny's stringer differ from Excalibur's? Just curious.

Re: ANY REMARKS ON TOMBSTONE MATRIX CASE

I paid way too much for mine at the local archery shop, but it is a very well-made, quality case. Provides more than adequate protection for my Matrix 355.

Re: Who shoots 3D shoots with a crossbow?

....In the People's Republic of New Jersey...Crossbows and Crossbow Shooters are the enemy to all of the "real archers." Our bows are BAD,BAD,BAD on targets and they have no place in the REAL WORD OF ARCHERY because crossbows are just so dangerous, shoot SOOOOOOOOOOOO fast and NEVER,EVER,...

Re: Your favorite.

Maybe I'm not qualified to respond, since I only own one crossbow, but I've owned my Matrix 355 for almost a year now, and the longer I own it, the more I like it. Never a hint of buyer's remorse here.

Re: It would be nice if Excalibur....

I'd like to have a padded, zippered case for my C2 crank, something to protect it from the usual bumps, as well as dirt, pine needles, Clif Bar crumbs, and other things that can accumulate in the bottom of a hunting pack. Maybe I'm just being fussy, but those cranks ain't cheap!

Re: Why did you buy an X-bow?

I admit reluctantly entering the world of crossbows. I was a county rep. with UBNJ back in the early 90's, when the organization was decidedly anti-crossbow. Then, in 2005, while on the job as a firefighter, I permanently injured my rt. shoulder, severed rotator cuff that could not be re-attatched. ...

Re: New Years Excalibur wish list

Anthony, sorry to hear that all is not well with your family. I also have a family member in the midst of a health crisis, and my neighbor/shooting buddy passed last week. His wife is taking it really hard. Prayers and sincere best wishes to you from down in Cumberland County. I would just like a de...

Re: Intro.

Welcome to one of the friendliest places on the 'net. Greetings from the opposite side of the continent (New Jersey)! My wife and I just got into crossbows this year, so we're newcomers, as well, and have learned a lot from the fine folks on this forum. :D
