Darton used to sell them under the Great Lakes name,but they were listed on their website. I wonder why they are selling them under Darton now. More accepted for a vertical bow manufacturer to sell xbows now that Bowtech is doing it maybe?

When you say his 3-dot has no rings,that is because the clamps? that grip the dovetail mount are built into the body of the reddot. Your scope needs the rings installed to grip the mount and are changeable. Both will grip the same dovetail mount.

A quick question,do you need to remove the pads if you are just changing strings? If using a stringer it obviously wouldn't matter,but if doing it by hand,when the limbs are totally relaxed for a couple minutes,would that damage the pads?

I am sure the new vixens do have new risers. A fairly recent change. The vixens power stroke is now a inch shorter than the phoenix.
