I've had it happen a couple of times and found that unless I had my string actually down on the rail, this could lead to a dry fire. Now I'm shooting a Barnett Quad 300 which uses a half moon nock and the trigger release is opposite to that of the Excalibur, I believe.

Thank You All!

This maybe the Excalibur web site but what the crossbow members shoot seem to matter as long as it's a crossbow; and, I do appreciate all the information, tips, and connections this forum allows me to pick up. To all of you, My Sincere Thanks! No, I'm not an Excalibur shoot, I shoot a Barnett; but,...

There has been one pictured with double drop tines but the drop on the right doesn't look like it; and, I think it was a mid-West buck.

O/T CAN HEAR YOU LAUGHING!

A little boy blows up a balloon and starts flicking it all around the house with his finger. His mother tells him to stop it as he's liable to break something, but the boy continues. "Johnny!" Mom screams. "Knock it off." You're going to break something. He stops and eventually M...

I posted this on another forum when the question was ask about crossbows.. Some people just do not get it when it comes to the sport of hunting and maybe, never will. It was interesting to note that no one had a negative comment to follow this. Just like with a vertical bow, it comes down to person...

I sent a check for bolts and the check was cashed but the bolts never arrived. I just wrote it off as a loss to remember.

I live in Framingham, Massachusetts, about 16 miles due West of Boston, almost on the Framingham, Natick, Sherborn, town lines; which is also where the swamp I hunt in and have most of my game cameras located. To get there requires a 7 minute walk or a 3 minute ATV ride.
