I also am considering the Mueller scope on one of my crossbows (I have one on order).....I have a illuminated 2x7 on a shotgun and it is an EXCELLENT scope. There is nothing wrong with the Excalabur Vari-zone......I love them also, but the illuminated dot on Mueller is so-o-o- nice! I dont think you...

Does any one know the effect of a dry fire with and without the bars? It seems to me that the bars might lesson the fracture effect of the limbs or other parts. Thanks!

Re: Ground vs Treestand
The amount will depend on the distance, and I think that the general concensus was that a shot from 15 feet up in the air,out to the normal 15-20 yard range,it would not be necessary to compensate at all. Does everyone agree? Bob. Yep, I agree......Thats the practical answer!.......You calculate dro...

The Varizone is by far superior due to its adjustment for each crosshair to be accurately on at 20, 30, 40 etc. yards. No other scope that I know of has that feature. Over the life of your equipment, the cost per year is minimal. Definitely buy the Varizone. There should be no difference in the qual...

Re: Starnge Mechanical Broadheads
Do you think that they may be designed to be fired in the open position, and they would reverse if you had to pull it out of the animal? Sure doesn't seem to be any advantage to firing them in the forward postion!(may even be dangerous to handle) Bob. Yea Bob, I was thinking of that also.....but how...
