Re: working out the issues
I love to hunt, love venison, an all wild game. Just trying to work out new issues with a new weapon. Love the crossbow...a lot...crossbow scopes, with multiple range aiming points and half inch adjustment clicks...is tough on the new guy....that's all...please don't take offense with my questions. ...

Re: matrix 380 with factory 19" arrows
I thought so!!!!............the average guy is happy hitting a baseball at 30 yrds....Just like competition compounds!, you really have to work the crossbow over ,to bring it up to its maximum shooting ability. The better scope would be a better choice to adjust P.O.I, an accuracy of the weapon over...

matrix 380 queston
while I am shooting my new matrix 380, I can swear I can see the arrow tail out to the left an the tip corrects this, an when it hits the target ,it is straight. Am I seeing things or will the correct arrow combination fly dead straight like a dart?I cannot imagine how a 2'' vein can stabilize the a...

matrix 380 with factory 19" arrows
Just got finished my first go with my matrix 380 in the back yard an it was a blast. I leveled up the limbs with a bubble level to be sure the scope crosshairs were perfectly lined up with a level bow. the 20 yard target was about 4" high 1" right....I clicked an clicked my way down to jus...

season end crossbow put away???
I have just bought my first crossbow, the matrix 380. When my archery season is over for me, I was wondering if removing the string is what should be done to remove all limb stress, or put the string changer on ,an leave it slightly cocked in the wrist notch, greatly reducing the stress. What is the...

good friends/good help
Hello, thanks for the welcome into this new sport. I also live in northeastern pa an it is thick to be sure. I cannot believe that the small two inch diablo arrows will stabilize the bolt cutter in flight like a dart without fishtailing downrange to the target. I was told that if that's what was sol...

Re: new matrix 380 with diablo arrows
Can I buy luminocks for my new arrows an install them myself??? Or, do you need to have them installed when you buy new arrows....also... Back in the 80's I made all my own aluminum arrows for competition shooting. Can I buy raw componets like I did back then, an make crossbow arrows with luminock's...

Now that I am thinking about it, I am going to try the leather M1 Grand leather cheek rest to raise up for a scope to line up............Oh, one more thing, when deer hunting an the deer is a bit further out, how do you get the bolt to the deer with the thump of the crossbow firing an making noise. ...

Hello, yep, I'm the new guy trying to buy the right stuff an set up correctly the first time. My bow is the 380, an the broadheads that the dealer sold me, (2 Sets) was the boltcutter B.A.T broadhead with adjustable blades for flight!?!?!?.. Hello, I just got my first crossbow the matrix 380 an had cabellas install the HHA optimizer. Now I don't know if putting the optimizer rail on top of the Excalibur rail is correct, for if it is, I need a check rest 2" high, to line up the scope, an not shoot the crossbow like a bazooka....When...
