Re: Insert glue choices
I have gone to products from 30-06, for both vanes and inserts. Yes your doing the acetone cleaning of both inserts and inside shaft of arrow, along with running insert between flat file's, works great on both brass and Ethics SS inserts. Just did inserts yesterday soaked all day, got them out last ...

Re: My Season Prep Routine
What Dan and Joe said, with maybe different string wax, in my case. Yes we all know if we shoot mechanicals, they hit same hole.:eusa-deadhorse: Now for those that are using fixed heads, doesn't matter if single blade to four blade, depending when you start hunting, shoot the fixed broadheads...

Re: string silencers
I have gone back to using BRUSH BUTTONS, like I used on my old recurve bows.
Someone said "speed kills" above, and that is true on the road.
I have gone the way of using heavy arrows, which helps reduce noise.

Re: correct broadheads
IMO each one of us needs to find what broadhead your bow shoots the best. To do this it takes time and work. We as archery hunters need to test broadheads to see what works in your set up, that includes mechanical's(from different mfg.), fixed blade's(single bevel, double bevel, two, three, & fo...

Re: Does Broadhead Choice Really Matter?
Already seeing YT videos pushing this is the only broadheads to use are mechanical's, based on this report. Seems like a slippery slope, as IMO each one of us needs to find what broadhead your bow shoots the best. To do this it takes time and work. We as archery hunters need to test broadheads to se...

Also to spin test the fix blade head on arrow, to make sure no wobble. If there is the head and arrow are not straight.

Make sure to spin test your arrows to make sure no wobble at the broadhead end. If there is, your head is not in line with the shaft.

Flteching ?
When I receive my ST arrows from Jerry at South Shore Archery, he has them splined marked with a white dot. Question is do you line up the front end of fletching or the rear of the fletching , with the dot, when setting up your vanes on the arrow in the BOLT?

Re: Lighted nocks
Looks like everyone prefers lumenoc's. Are you guys that shoot mechanicals getting complete passthru's, seems the few huntin shows I watch very few get them. I kind of have a habit of hugging the shoulder too tight more times than not. For you shooting them which bows are you using, thinking speed ...

Re: Arrow fish tailing pictures on page 2
From what I know about the fellow shooting in the pictures, the camera is mounted to his scope. Could be but I have my camera mounted on my crossbow, and I don't see any kind of arrow movement like in these pictures, from my arrows.
