Re: 360 TD Boofest winner
I was caught off guard today with the phone call from Dennis. I did not recognize the out of state call and was in the middle of removing my spam cabinets. So it was a nice surprise. I am glad to hear Dennis grandson is doing well. Also glad to be able to help his family. God Bless, Don Brown

Re: Cheaper Off Shore Products
Interesting topic to discuss. My wife lost her job wiring heating and cooling units because the company moved its operation to Mexico. They could pay the workers in Mexico, what she made in a day, each week. Was she mad, not really she went to college and got a degree. Would we like to boycott this ...

Re: The broad broadhead discussion
I like mechanicals; specifically Afflictor broadheads. With the proper shot placement you should be able to use a mechanical. I would choose wisely as some broadheads don’t perform as well as others. Use google search for reviews and You tube for independent tests when choosing. I use 125 grain but ...

Re: Micro Delima!
My neighbor loves his micro335. I have shot it. It is easy to cock, quiet, and accurate. If I were buying a micro I would look at the model that fits me best and has the longest rail length. My bd400 is 14 inches while the assassin is 15.

60 days until bow season
With 60 days until bow season I decided to gut our spam and buy a new set of cabinets. What was I thinking. I usually start setting stands at the end of August but that may not happen. I am also putting new flooring down through out the house. I hope it stays hot till October because that is when I ...

I drive 10 minutes out to the local archery range. They have an elevated platform, 15 up in the air. There is a 3D course as well. You can bow hunt there too; walk in only. I have been known to shoot groundhogs in my backyard off the deck though.

Re: What's you deer combo for this year?
I am going with my BD380, Spinal Tapps with SK300 canes. Sticking with my Afflictor broadheads- 125 grain. I bought a Mancini 360 tree stand so I plan to use it in some new areas I found to hunt. I sold my M405 and bought a BD400 so plan to add a new trigger and it will be ready to hunt.

Re: Bulldog 380
Are those the new matrix limbs? Reason I ask I have an older BD380 with the previous limb version. No problems with them and I shoot a 2 inch brace height. I only ask because I was thinking today of buying a set of the new matrix limbs. There is a thread about them I read it again today. Glad your o...

Congrats, I like mine because it is quiet, fast, accurate, and easier to cock then the M405 I had. I bought some Spinal Taps for it and a used TT. You will enjoy it.

Re: The Horizontal Zone
The hunting industry is not what it was a few years ago. I have always felt they missed the mark because their target audience for the most part does not have the resources to hunt at game ranches each year. Most hunt public land where herd management is not possible. Don’t get me wrong I love to sh...

Hanging a deer
Do you hang your deer by the neck or back legs? The local meat processor asked me to start skinning from the neck down. Too much hair in the meat. Also what is your favorite skinning knife to use? Thanks in advance.

Re: Deer hunting out of state - where to go?
I hunt forestry land in Missouri. Lots of it available; but Iowa would be a great choice as well. For me I see an elk hunt in Kentucky in the future. Unfortunately it is by drawing for out of state hunters.
