With the training heads they hit the target at 30 meters. I can get the 3 shots in the area of a 2Euro coin.
then i change to Razorcaps and they hit 6-8 inches to the right and 1-2 inches up.
I user 3 blades and 3 bolts.
theres must be something wrong with the razorcap blades!
thanks
Paulo

disapointed
Hi Finaly tested the razorcaps 125 with aluminium 2219 this weekend... couldnt be worst!! They hit the target between 15-20 cm to the right when comparing with the same bolt but with practice head (125 gr too). I've tried 3 bolts and the 3 razorcaps blades and they all have the same problem. All i'v...

Razorcaps and aluminium bolts
Hi What's your experience with RazorCaps blades (125grains)? Are they accurate? I always used carbon bolts with some blades (dont know the make) but i'd like to try something heavier for more impact. Do you think is a good idea to shoot these RazorCaps blades with a 2219 aluminium crossbolt (405grai...

hunting with rain
Hi
I've read the question on how to clean/dry a riffle and have all these questions to you.
Is there any problem to use a excalibur xbow with heavy rain? Should i be concerned about something? Whats the best way to dry it in the end?
Will the string still works fine the next time?
Thanks
Paulo

I'm bought my first crossbow, a Phoenix, only 2 month ago and here in Portugal there arent many xbow hunters. there is no site, or forum or even magazine were we can read anything about xbow and xbow hunting. This forum helped me making my choice with the Phoenix , helped me with any doubt i had up ...

I did it! Its not very hard to do (with the cocking rope) and i think the risk is not very high as long as we are extremely carefull. I wanted to learn how to manually uncock because not only at the end of the night hunting but when changing the string. there is no other way to change the string wit...

uncocking / change string
Hi guys I know this is quite old but been searching for uncocking and gone through this thread. I've never changed a string in my phoenix but have to do it now! tried to imagine a way to do this with minimum effort and no injuries but i'm getting a little bit scared. The uncocking rope seemed so eas...
