In order to do a 200 yard shot with any bow and arrow you'll have to lob it in! I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm saying you're going to be aiming at the moon in order to hit the other end of the pasture! It's called artillery! Any retired artillery guys onboard? Sorry but I lobbed stuff at much...

Bringing back many good memories for me. I spent two years in Hall Beach NWT (N68.43.39 W81.15.50) (now Nunavut), its way up there in the Foxe Basin. Back in the mid 80s I was a Captain defending North America from those pesky Russians on the DEW Line as part of NORAD. The town of Hall Beach had 400...

Doesn't she make all you horizontal bow guys want to go vertical? For a minute of two? Thanks diesel for restoring some levity to the forum. BTW, I agree with Grizzly, the shop is a little substandard, then again, I do not have racks like that in mine. Thank God! I'd never get any canoes built...

jh45gun, Some enjoy pushing themselves to new capabilities beyond what is seen as the norm, it's all about excellence. If you haven't gone to Mattias72 website and view the videos of him target shooting at 100 yards and 110 yards, then you should. This has nothing to do with unethical hunting. There...

I share the same desire to excel at whichever sport I do. This is no different in archery. I strive like you to test my abilities and skills; which means I want to increase my accuracy and challenge myself by increasing my range. Developping these long range accuracy skills on large yellow foam bloc...

Monopod for Accuracy
Has anyone seen aftermarket monopods which mount to the Excalibur for longrange accuracy? I have a monopod that I used for my SLR camera, I'm thinking of drilling and tapping my quiver mount so I can screw in the monopod in order to reachout and touch that 8 point buck!

Greetings All, I'm new to the Excalibur family, just purchased an Equinox with a Lumi-zone Scope. What an incredible machine! After hunting with a compound bow for years, I was forced to change systems because of an injury to my arm. After three sessions, I have it dialed at 50 yds consistantly with...
