So let me get this right, I can shorten the string aid and use the rope cocker to pull up on the string aid?

I tried shortening the string aid but I wasn't able to pull it up... guess I will have to eat my wheaties!

Thanks guys for the responses they are very helpful. Another question I have if I am to use other arrows like carbon express or gold tips is it ok to use the plastic flat nocks that are supplied with those arrows? If not how can I get the flat aluminum nocks Excalibur says to use?
