The first crossbow I ever owned I got on e-bay. I thought I was getting a real deal. It was really cheap! When it finally arrived I excitedly put it together. With no word of a lie that bow was EXTREEMLY DANGEROUS The first two shots were fine, the next time I cocked the bow, just as I was ta...

You can set it to arround 300fps but that is only a starting point! :( You will still need to follow the set up procedure to dial it in corectly. IE, set the crosshairs on at 20 yards, then move to 40 yards and adjust only the fpm ring until you find the sweet spot. The likelyhood is you will be clo...

I wear a full harness everytime I hunt from a hang on tree stand.
It can only take a fraction of a second to ruin your life!!
However I don't, from a hand built platform.

I agree with GaryL.
Varizone all the way.
It is the only scope I know of that you can adjust the distance markers according to your crossbow's velocity. Great feature to have, and it is not really expensive compared to the competition.

Thanks a lot guys.
Yes I am very excited.
My poor wife has re-lived every minute of it at least ten times tonight!
New guy; if I can do it any one can! Your time WILL come.

Regards to all, and may none of your tags go un-filled.

Knights of Ni gets his first deer

I finally did it! :D :D A nice 6 point buck at 36 yards. He was a little further away than I would have liked, but he presented him self perfectly broadside three times. The laser rangefinder took the guess work out of the shot so I was confident when I pulled the trigger. It took three seasons but ...

Just to add to Kendo Kid's comment.
There is a major shortage of doctors in Canada
especially in the Cambridge area where she practiced.
Surly this should make people open their eyes and take notice!

Hey Beech Check out Sams Club They sell the 8x4 trailer like the one at Home Depot but it is galvanized. I got it for my ATV, it tilts easily for loading and I remove the sides when towing a long distance to save a little weight(and gas :x ) I mainly like that it is galvanized, the ones at TSC and H...

Not sure what you are asking but the link below is helpful http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/arrowselect.html The exocet is close enough for your calculation. It states that a LaserII is 360gr. Did you weigh it with the point on? FYI there is 7000 grains in a lb.(7000/16=437.5gr per oz) Regards Knigh...

Nice set up!
It has to be better than store bought, because you know what is in it!!
Some ingredients look like they should be in a car battery, not in our food
Thanks for the reply
