Game Bags
I live a long way from the nearest Cabelas, and on the weekend will be visiting one. I’ve been considering buying some game bags. I really haven’t had much need for any until last fall. Even then, we were lucky and could make do without any commercially made version. It’s about time to get some good...

Re: This makes me wonder
Good point, Boo.
As a firearms owner, I can identify with that buck. The pack is at our heels, even if it’s leader is a bit distracted at the moment. April is coming soon for prohibited owners.

Re: What Is The Downside To Shooting A Heavy Arrow (600gr+) At Deer?
Downside == Increased trajectory.
Upside -- Increased penetration
If increased penetration isn't coupled with increased cut, what's the point? A "passier" pass through? ? That pushes us towards mechanical broadheads, because extreme broadhead width causes flight problems.

Thanks DoeMaster
I’ve deleted my posts(as best I can) so that it doesn’t become chaff in the new thread. We don’t want a bunch of clutter in the way fo good material. I hope others will do the same to their posts or, alternatively, you or someone with the powers to do it, remove it.
Now Nog, it’s your turn!!!

How thick would you have to apply Tanglefoot to keep him off?

Heck yes. Bears can get too big or fat to climb trees. It even can happen to bear hunters.

Re: Potential CWD Vaccine on the horizon
That would be wonderful news if it works. It might also herald hope for mad cow disease and even some human diseases.

Re: Trailblazer Innerloc 150 grain quick review
I wish I had had the benefit of your review before I bought a half dozen of the trailblazer. I don’t recall them being dull, but I haven’t examined them closely. If you have any that are unused and obviously dull, I’d photograph them and send a report to Excalibur. Even if you didn’t buy them with a...

Re: Crazy Crossbow speeds
A bow with enough energy to push an arrow at 500fps would be interesting. To heck with the speed increase. Think of the potential for enlargement of the broadhead, admittedly a (mechanical broadhead), not fixed broadhead. What’s bad about more weight and much more cut? Penetration isn’t a big conce...

So that’s what you get when you cross breed a Golden Retriever with a Honey Badger. Cute as heck, but …..man o man.

Re: very off-topic but I need help!
I'm trying to imagine a litter of, say, 6 puppies "playing" with each other.
