Left home at 6:30. In stand at 7:15. At about 8:45 the 3 does and fawns I have watched all fall show up. Took the biggest button buck (the only shot I had) at about 40yards. The old carved tip limb Exomag did it's job :D . Not a bragger but an eater  . I'm happy. Would have bet money I'd be sk...

I may have to unlock it and the case but at least I feel a little better in this reengineered socialist society :? that Toronto seems to c...

U.S. Nonresident Licence
Does anyone know of an inexpensive nonresident State hunting licence that is available over the net. I'm looking for one to use to qualify to take my guns north moose hunting. The ATF rules state I need one and I figure someone on this site can steer me in the right direction.
Thanks

Farmer I've lived in the country all my 55 years and have seen urbanites buying into the idyllic country myth. I enjoy new neighbours but take issue when they want to control water flow, crowing roosters, Sunday morning tractors and yes even the sound of gunshots :? . My family cleared this part of ...

Wolf Coyote Hunting
I just read on the Bass Haven web site that our Minister of Swamps and Bunnies has enacted a new wolf/coyote system whereby we can buy up to 2 game seals for them a year and can only hunt that many. I guess I am a neanderthal with my way of thinking. It just seems that our Fiberals can't leave anyth...

O/T 870 Scope Mount Question
I've got an Reminton 870 Express with a fully rifled open sight deer barrel. My eyes getting as old as the rest of me and can't focus on the sights and the deer at the same time :( . I tried a saddle mount and red dot. The red dot's fine but the saddle mount sucks big time. One of our local gunsmith...
