Re: Suppressor Trigger
There you go. If Woody would have done the polish it may have been fine. I was the one to suggest the after market. What I thought about gun triggers is that polished just makes a smoother pull but does not affect the creep. I may be wrong about that. It doesn't matter, the trigger upgrade was worth...

Re: Suppressor Trigger
I went back to Woody's and he explained that 315 is a different mechanism and the extra draw weight makes a difference. He offered to polish it but I went with the triggertech instead. It's money well spent.

Re: Bear Hunt
That's pretty close to what the outfitter said. The bear comes in and the hunter thinks it is leaving so takes a bad shot. Alot times there is bigger bear coming or the bear will come back more relaxed. I know the 315 would do the job but dagnamit, the suppressor is so sweet. I just needed an excuse.

Re: Excalibur crossbows ( on the left side of the page)
Been a while since I looked at the list. Wow! The herd has really grown in the Bowtech era, and that's not counting the Stryker offerings. I'm seeing a lot of Excaliburs that are shades of the same thing. Must be hard to decide if buying a new bow these days. Like Duhh, they all have wheels except ...

Suppressor Trigger
I picked up a Suppressor and also have a 315. The 315 trigger was never a problem but the Suppressor has a bunch of creep. I bought the bow off the rack and never thought to ask for a cocking rope or manual. Is the trigger adjustable or do I just spring for an aftermarket. Also, is there and afterma...

Re: Bear Hunt
The short story longer is I finally bought a suppressor. I loved the Raid but figured my 315 was as deadly. A friend is getting into crossbow and I have been lecturing him on the benefits of the Excalibur. We went to Woody's in Robesonia PA and both walked out with Suppressors. They had the Raid and...

Where do you buy the Raid
Checked a few local shops and they have no idea. one quoted list price for the suppressor. The other could not find it in the catalog. The sales rep seemed to think you could find it for less than retail at the Harrisburg show Woodys shows a bare bones bow.So if I want a Raid where can I buy it.

all Excalibur
How many people are shooting 350 grains with the micros and doing well or are you breaking limbs?? It is what they use to test the bows and should work. It shoots better from my 315. And I like the mechanical bolt cutter,

Re: Great American Outdoor Show
Got home a little bit ago. Spring bear is booked at Camp Cooper and I Liked the feel of the Raid much better than the Suppressor..I did the 10 dollar parking and added to my NRA membership for free admission. The crowd was not bad and it only took a few hours to complete. The 6 dollar soda was flat ...

Re: Range Finders
I have the Leopold RX650. It is bare bones digital readout but measures the same in different light. I usually shoot enough objects with the range finder to know distances in my shooting area and it works well. But if you need to measure game or hunt a new spot in the dawn there are probably better ...
