Re: The perfect crossbow scope reticle

The Hawke XB1 with MAP reticle is perfect for me. No muss no fuss. No IR but none of my expensive rifle scope do either. Very affordable too. I just can't spend an exorbitant amount on a 30-40 yard (my max comfort shot) weapon. Check em out. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/KX1qPoLNaia181hn75hWkylm...

Re: I think I may I think I might

I dabbled with compound crossbows while still shooting my Hoyts and Martin verticals. Had a Horton Ultralite and a Bear FFL. Sold em and kept on vertin'. Got a bad case of target panic with my Nitrum. Then I bought a Micro 355. Sold off every thing vertical related shortly after. Won't be shopping f...

Re: String replacement question

Nice shoot. I learned hardly to avoid firing the same target ( with an excalibur crossbow, of course). Everyone should know that theses crossbow ( excalibur, of course) are deadly accurate, and to avoid expensive arrows replacement, i suggest to aim a different point every time. Very true. I shoot ...

Re: Is modern hunting actually easier?

Good thread, I think hunting overall is tougher in the high pressure areas only because people tend to do the same thing. Deer start to pattern people to a greater degree then years past. If you don't close the deal on a nice buck during the early season it seems to take much longer now with the hi...

Re: Listed on ebay

Most of the general public (that I've met) do not take the time to educate themselves. I saw this one Ibex that had the string slapping the riser  .

Re: Favorite broadheads?

Slick Trick 150 xbow. I have yet to put em to the test but the standards worked well in my vertical bow (that I do not miss one bit). They fly like lasers out of my micro 355.

Re: Excal Micro 355 shooting form

Thanks for the replies fellas! Honestly this bow impresses me every time I pick it up. More so when I shoot it. Seem's a lot of people run a Flemish string and that's next on my list.

Excal Micro 355 shooting form

Hello all!. Recently retired from 20 yrs vertical bow shooting, picked up a Micro 355, and haven't looked back. I'm newly infected by the Excalibur virus and I've been researching, to no avail, on proper form while shooting an Ex. Any pointers? Loose or tight grip? Squeeze (like a rifle) or pull (li...

Re: First buck, Micro 335

Great deer, great vid. That's how it's done. Congrats!
Glad to hear a report on the ST 150's. They're in my quiver as well, still dry though.
