It's controversial , but SPEED KILLS ! A lighter arrow with the 100gr wasp will get better penetration . Good article in Sept. issue of Buckmasters Magazine.

Well guys , this is my first xbow and I have a lot to learn . I will probably go to the 100gr wasp as Excalibur suggests but I want to see for myself how some of the diff. types of broadheads perform. Any suggestions will be gladly accepted. Did find out one thing , THIS THING IS SCARY ACCURATE ! !

Tried the Buckmaster broadheads (100gr) made for Bass Pro Shops by Sonic. WORKED AS ADVERTISED ! ! Flew just like my field tips and had great penetration in my Morrell crossbow target . Also tried a NAP Spitfire. Worked just as good . used an 85gr because thats all I had . Going to buy the Spitfire ...
