That sounds realy tastey I wish someone around here would do that. I hunted yesterday morning and saw around 30 deer the best day I have had all season. We had snow coming in that afternoon and I guess the deer were feeding like crazy getting ready for the storm. I hope the good deer movement keeps ...

cbows

I have owned horton, excalibur, tenpoint, and parker crossbows. My two favorites were the tenpoint stealth and my Exocet. I stuck with the Exocet mainly because I could do my own work no proshop needed and the lighter weight my tenpoint was over 9lbs with ACC draw and scope. Both shot very well.

Crazy people ??

Whi...

I do wrap the antlers with foil at the bases and try to keep the bases from bleaching. The last few mounts I did I just bought some antler stain from a taxidermy store for $14 and retouch the bases and put a light coat over the rest of the anlter it gives it a nice shine and protects the antlers fro...

size

That is a huge eight point at 170's gross the pictures don't do it justice at all. I would have never guessed the buck that high. My biggest buck ever is just in the one 160's and he is a perfect 12pt with heavy mass everywhere and nice tines to.

I say around mid 120's net and low 130's gross from what I can tell in the pictures. Good deer but eight's normaly don't score that high unless they are a moster. Here is the two bucks I took this season before I finished up the european mounts both 8pt's the bigger one is 19.5 inches wide with good ...

I have shot spitfire 85gr and 100gr time to time out of my 175lb Exocet over the years with great luck on deer, hogs, and turkeys,. I shoot fixed blades 90% of the time as the fly great out of my Exocet so why go mech-head unless you are haveing a accuracy problem unless for turkey where the huge 1.5-...
