I wash my gear in sno-seal sport wash which I also use in the above mentioned mix. I use it as a spray down before each hunt which seems to nutrilize any odors etc.

I use the mix you described along with regular scent wash and have had a few nice deer come within a few yards of my stand downwind and not get spooked.
