I've been shooting the Mag200 for a few years now and would'nt give it up for field use. While I find it to much bow for 3D with field points I'm sinking arrows up to the fletching.

Off all week myself BigUgly and can't wait look forward to it all year.

Have two areas to cover next week 82A (300 acres) and 84 (450 acres) both rifle.

The biggest problem now is to decide which rifle to use 30-06, 270, 243 ????

For deer size game, bullets weighing 200 to 250 grains are the best choices. With the possible exception the Nosler225 grain Partition. Heavier bullets are better choices for larger game. R.J. 2 shots per event every 5 min. We found anything 4 ft and lower we were getting alot of grass as the fields warmed up, now it's up about 5 ft angled down. Antlers are sold while still in velvet. More weight or yummy fuzzy stuff I don't know for sure.
My father in law raises NewZeland red deer and all of his are cut while still in velvet.
