My First !!!!!!

Well, I Took my first deer with a bow today. Its been raining here all day. I finally put on my rain gear, went out and sat in the rain. 15 min. later three does walked by me and stood broadside at 20 yds. I settled my cross hairs on the lead doe and shot. She let out a bleat, jumped once, and went ...

Bought a pair three years ago. Been with me on Coon hunts, Fall Turkey hunts, Deer Hunts, and this November to Iowa for Pheasant. There great. Honestly I can't find any fault with them.

Thanks GaryL. I think it might be fixed. I didn't realize you could back it out so far. I'll have to wait till its light to know for sure. Thanks again.

Vari-Zone Scope Problems

I handed by Exocet to a good friend today, and after looking thru it he said that the scope wasn't as clear as it should be. I noticed it from the start, but figured since I have eye problems, it was just me. I did as instructed when I first put the bow together. Turned the bell both directions with...

vari-zone scope

I showed my Exocet to a friend today and he made the comment that it wasn't a very clear sight picture. Since I have trouble with my eyes, I assumed it was me. I had adjusted the bell like instructed, but could only get a fair picture. He turned up the speed ring, and everything cleared up. I know f...

Hey Striper, thanks for the advice. I new about keeping my limbs a safe distance from limbs and other obstructions, even though I didn't do it. That idea about a rubberband around the stock and safety is great. In fact the rubberband is there now. I would never pull a loaded bow into my stand, but i...

One of those days!!!

Things could have been worse. Got to the stand late, because I left some gear at the house. Decided I wouldn't try to get to my stand. Afraid I'd jump the deer going in. Set up on the ground in a place I had sat before. 1 hr later three does walk within 15 yds. Heard a strange sound when I shot. The...
