Game Cart

I had just dropped my deer off at the meat locker yesterday when I got a call from my brother saying he had a big 6pt. down way back in the woods and would I bring my game cart out to help. I had only used it one time last year on a small doe 50yds. off the road so I wasn't sure what to expect. Turn...

Wabi: That is a nice looking rifle. I'm looking to sell my Remington in-line and upgrade to something a little newer. Please keep us informed on how it shoots. May have to give that one a serious look since I have a Lyman sidelock, I know their well made.

Roundball Buck

I've been trying for the past few years to take a deer with my Lyman muzzleloader. This summer I drew a special Historic weapons hunt here in Misssouri, and yesterday I had a six pointer walk within 20 yds. of me. I hit him with a 54. cal roundball in front of 90 grains of ff blackpowder. It was a d...

Summit Harness Recall Alert!!!!

Not sure if this has been posted yet. I was on the Cabela's website yesterday looking at treestands and came across a notice that all body harnesses made in China in 05 for Summit need to be replaced. What makes me so upset is you have to wait for them to mail you a box, then cut the tag and a piece...

I've done so many that it's hard to remember, but the last one I did was to some how leave my thumb sticking up when I shot my Exocet. Man did that hurt. Didn't lose the nail but it's still black and blue.

Lonewolf Climbing Sticks

Anyone out there use the Lonewolf climbing sticks? Some of the trees I need to climb I can't use my Summit climber on. I need a small portable climbing stick and it looks pretty good. Any advice would be great. Thanks
