Re: Why so much upgrading??

I noticed a large number of hunters on this forum have switched from stock trigger to a trigger tech trigger. I'm pretty new to excalibur crossbows are the trigger techs that much better and why?

Re: String alignment

Received a return email from Peter he personally checked the limbs before they left the facility and were perfect and he asked me to check for cracked limbs and that I could shoot it. No cracked limbs and it shoots 400 fps on the button however I can only shoot 15 yards inside so accuracy I'm not su...

Re: String alignment

The string is not square to the barrel. The REDS are both exactly 2 3/8 inches. When I measured from the center of the barrel out to the limb tip the right one was 14 3/4 inches and the left was 15 1/8 inches. Peter said they shot it to make sure it was 400 fps but with it being so far off I don't k...

Re: String alignment

Well I'll keep you posted I emailed Peter he's good at getting back. I just wanted to see if anyone else ever had an issue like this. Racking up did but he said they took care of him. I'm just surprised because it was already a warranty issue seems crazy they wouldn't see something like this. Thank ...

I recently received a new head and limbs (warranty) from Peter he's great to deal with my question is the new head came with a string all I had to do was put on my reds. When I did I noticed that the string was off ie: one side was 1/2 inch off the reds and the other was 1/4 inch off. Will this affe...

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results

Thanks Peter I know you guys are doing your best. I'm waiting to get my limbs back and see where I'm at. The reason I first used the chronograph was to help set up the scope. The scope is dead nuts at 385 fps. I appreciate your help and patience with me. First time owner it was not my intention to i...

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results

Look I'm not trying get attacked here if you're happy not getting what you pay for that's your business. It's the only bow that doesn't say "up to" but does say " exceeds" very deceptive that's all I'm saying. They sold the 400 on these statements. I wouldn't have bought it if I ...

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results

Their claim to fame on this bow was 400 fps why even advertise speed then. Bulldog 380 $1099. Bulldog 400 $1299. Because of the speed the price goes up. Its like buying a truck you buy a V8 and your only getting the performance of a V-6. I get what you're saying the draw for me to this bow was the s...

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results

Bulldog 400 with a 351.2 grain Arrow I've tried everything from brace height to new strings nothing works. Sent the limbs out they are the highest deflection excalibur makes for this bow. 385fps out of my chronograph and 384 fps at local shop.
